Singapore airport, 25th Sep

Local Time: 9.30pm
Sorry,sorry,sorry
that i haven`t written anything for such a long time!
But I just couldn`t manage to do so.
But I`m sure that i`ll find some time to write down some notes about the last 2-3 weeks when i`m back in Germany.

However, I just wanted to say that I`m at the moment in SIngapore and that its like a deja vu for me, being here.
Its time to say goodbye Australia and Hallo Deutschland.
But thats the way it is!

I also want to congratulate my big sister to her 22 birthday!I hope u have a good flight girl!
Time is running out, so i have to finish my entry!Have a nice day!

Greetings from Singapore,

Flo

September, 9th'Atheton Tabelands, Rainforest

Sunday

Today I`ve been to an area called the tablelands, which is west of Cairns.

You can go to the rainforest and see the amazing wildlife there-yes,tahts exactly what i did.
In the moring I had a guided tour which was very informative and therefore interesting and in the afternoon I went kajaking in a lake to watch out for some water animals like water dragons or water snakes.

Just take a look at that massive tree! Its called cathedral fig tree and its about 40-50 metres high and it needs about 6000 litres a day!
Its just amazing what plants you can see in the rainforest!
Tomorrow i`ll go to the Great Barrier Reef and i`ll take hopefully some good fotos with my rented underwater camera to give you an impression of the gorgeous life in the reef.

By the way, don`t be frightened: the snake which i just kissed isn`t poisonous or in any other way dangerous :-P

Airlie Beach, 2nd September-4 September

Ok everybody, its time for a new entry again!

I`ve been sailing around the Whitesundays Island and here are again some photos from the tour:

What you can see on the fotos is the famous Whiteheaven Beach, one of the most famous beaches from all over the world and in my humble opinion, its probably one of the most beautiful ones.
At the moment i`m staying in a town called Cairns, which is very far in the north and which can be considered to be in the tropics! Therefore, the weather is very nice and we have about 25 (or even more degrees ) here.

Fraser Island-Airlie Beach

Just some images:
Fraser Island was a cool adventure and i finally found some real friends! But unfortunately, we had to part again because i`ll go to the whitesundays tomorrow and they go somewhere else.

The hole trip was a real camping trip, and of course, we slept in tents! I hope that my Whitesundays trip will be as cool as the F.I.
Greetings from Airlie Beach, Florian

Noosa Heads-Rainbow Beach

Hallo zusammen,
In ca. 2 Wochen faengt glaub wieder eure Schule an, also geniesst noch eure Ferien :-P

Sonnige Gruesse aus Noosa

Halftime, Lets travel on

---Halftime---
I have nearly spent half of the time of my trip to Australia now and i`m going to continue my travel on next Monday.
At first i thought that i can work next week, but the farmers normally want you to stay longer than one week so i didn`t get the job on the strawberry farm.
And i didn`t want to work longer than 1 week, because i think that i`ll need at least 3 weeks to travel from Brisbane to Cairns and i also want to spent 2 weeks in Perth, west Australia, so i don`t have enough time to work 2 weeks.

My plan for the following 6 weeks is:
4 weeks travel (if i find a job in inisfail or bundaberg, then i`ll probably work one week )
2 weeks in and around Perth (i`ll meet ena there)

My next destination is Noosa, maybe 3 hours north from Brisbane if you travel with the greyhound bus.

What can i say about the language school? I really liked it and i can recommend it to everybody who wants to improve his English and who wants to meet new people.
The name of my language school is ACE-Australian College of English
The lessons were also very different from the lessons which i had in Germany and i can say, YES, English lessons don`t have to be boring automatically :-P
I also got an overview about all the certificates and tests which you can get...like the Cambridge certificates, the certificates for teachers and so on
i thinks thats enough now for just one entry :-p
Take care and don`t forget:
6. Oktober : Rundenbeginn U 16
7. Oktober: Rundenbeginn U 20

Australien Zoo

Good Day mates,
today I`ve been to the Australian Zoo and i took a photo with a python, which will be available on this site tomorrow.
it was an interesting and sad experience at the same time, because you could see a gedenkstette(??) of steve irwin and I realized how hard it must be for his family to walk through the zoo and see pictures of him everywhere...
Moreover, i had a cool experience yesterday: I climbed up some cliffs and it was really challenging and i was really nervous when i looked back while I was climbing. But anyway, I made it to the top and I was proud that I`ve made it!
Take care u all,
Florian
